Because the stress of walking the dragline was carried by only 13 teeth,
they sometimes would shear, which would require welding new teeth in place.

Three cylinder engine - twelve and one half inch bore with sixteen inch stroke
intake and exhaust manifolds at top left, valve covers are at left
crankcase cover visible in the dark at right center (behind pipe)
You could practically crawl in there!
