Hotel Ames

Known both as the Ames Hotel and Hotel Ames, the old brick hotel on the northwest corner of Duff and Onondaga (Main) was earlier known as the Davis House. This structure followed a frame building known as the New York House.  Ames Hotel stood and was in operation until the 1920s.
