Some of the prize winners in the annual Montgomery Ward and company bicycle safety parade held Saturday morning are shown in the above picture.  On the left is Dick Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Arthur, 1219 Ninth, who won third prize.  In the center is second prize entry of Sharon McDonald; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald, 420 South Walnut, and Susan and Marilyn Miller, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Garry Miller, 428 South Fourth.  At the right is the winner of the first prize, entered by Tommy and Willy Mosness, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mosness, 1115 Stafford, and Bud Shaffer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Shaffer, 213 East Eleventh.
This photo shows the northwest corner of the Burnett and Main intersection.  Note the Collegian Theater in the background.
