This early scene looking north on Ash Avenue from the Donald Street intersection shows the beginnings of the south campus area neighborhood which was featured in the 2007 historic home tour of this area of Ames.  At the right, houses at 420, 412, and 400 Ash are visible.  In the distance on the horizon may be seen campus buildings, including Agriculture (Curtiss) Hall.  Buildings on the Alice Keenan farm are barely visible behind the trees to the left.
