Agatha (Aggie) Haverly Nelson, wife of Nelson Electric founder Ben Nelson, is shown at the counter of their 320 Main Street show room that offered lamps, bulbs, radios, toasters, irons, washing machines, and other electric appliances.  Note the ceiling fan.  There have been four locations for Nelson Electric during the company's 100 years of business in Ames.  Learn more about the history of Nelson Electric Company.
