23 Camp Fire, Blue Bird Groups To Take Part In Second Annual Fair

Everybody loves a parade, including these fourth grade Bluebirds from Roosevelt school who will lead the Blue Bird Midway parade at the second annual Camp Fire fair in Memorial Union Thursday at 7 p.m. with their kitchen band.  Musicians and their instruments are in the front row, left to right, Ann Strubel, “bass drum”; Karen Bradley, “snare drum”; Doris Witter, “baritone”; Bonnie Rhoads, “flute”; Barbara Beach, “gong.”  In the back row are, left to right, Sandra McLarnan, “trombone”; Julie Evans, “tom tom”; Mary Frances Manning, “bells”; Barbara Kurtz, director of the band; Nancy Dogget, egg beater (a brand new musical instrument); and Kae Wester, ‘cymbals.’
