Café and Bus Depot Will Open Here Saturday
published Feb. 11, 1949

Above is a view of the new Overland café and Union Bus depot which will open Saturday.  Visitors are invited to participate in open house activities from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The new $175,000 building is owned and will be operated by Barkalow Brothers company which has leased depot rights to the Jefferson and Greyhound bus lines.  Glenn Anderson, Greyhound driver, notes the relative spot where the buses will unload and load.  Bus service will continue at the Sheldon-Munn depot until Saturday at midnight when the new depot will be initiated.  [Wells Fargo Bank currently occupies this location at Main and Clark.]
