Barbara Teig, Ames high school 1953 Homecoming Queen, stalks her Thanksgiving dinner with the help of a very large axe.  Picture was taken at the Ames Reliable Company's experimental farm north of Ames.  Barbara still lives in Ames and is now known as Mrs. Jack Adams.
